License aside, there’s currently no way to get graphics acceleration on the APU running the device. So no, you cannot run macOS on it even if you wanted to
I waited a full 9 months for my uconsole. They pitch it as a fantasy product, and I think that's fair. These are products with no target application. A standard MBA will suffice for all the specialized applications with the same weight and better screen using USB dongles. Maybe not 4G but who pays for service to run those modules rather than hotspot to a phone anyway?
This device looks interesting. Given the coloring of the "mouse buttons", the lack of trackpoint is disappointing, though. And the "AI" in the name is a bit of a turn off.
I would be pretty content if I could run macOS in a VM on an iPad, the core HW is near enough the same and macOS supports paravirtualised graphics, and yet...
This is a siren song product for nerds. It's just begging for you to buy it, work perfectly for a few months and then break your heart.
They advertise macOS support which is in violation of Apple's EULA...I wonder how long before a takedown request?

I like the GPD devices but they are all over with questionable copy in this.
"Apple Unibody design" and using the actual apple logo.. not sure I get it.
That screams cheap and nasty to me. They should definitely remove it.
As someone who has owned one, I do not like the GPD devices.
Which device and why tho
mind to elaborate on why? i think i want one. i miss the netbook-like <10-11" form factor.

Still waiting for Apple to release the MacBook 12” again. Or 10”. Small form factor has its niche.
