There isn't a single System 7 through Mac OS 9 screenshot in that article... what a shame!

I still use a real OS 9 machine running Claris Works 4.0.5 for my first draft when I take notes.
It's such a second nature to me after decades of use that changing would be sand in the gears, and no other integrates suite comes close even in 2025.
I really tried to use AppleWorks in 2003, but there was too much friction for me. This is probably for the best, since iWork came out the next year.
