The problem with rhetoric like this in conjunction with digital convergence is that while, yes, I do have a portal to infinite wasted time in my pocket, it is also how I control my HVAC and tv and pay for everything and use the metro and unlock my doors. There is no longer any separation, mentally, physically or locally. Though I do not use it this way, I cannot imagine the trigger of having to unlock your door with the same device you use to gamble.
