Anti-circumvention laws making it a felony to do anything more than what is permitted with the things we "buy" (which is totally a misnomer now) regresses mankind brutally, pushes us back from man the thinker, back even from man the tool maker. Government decree is that we are animals with no natural right or ability to understand or explore the world about us, that shitty petulant corporations dictate all terms of the reality we live in.
