It would seem one of the few occupations where it would not be off putting to have a bigger HMD, especially in the case that you’d probably want the device to have dual purpose. One being that of a dystopian tool, and the other of being protective face covering that you know… you kind of need when you commit your heinous atrocities.

The smart glasses I have seen so far can barely record a sharp image of my hand if I stretch out my orang-utan-esque arms. And they get hot in your face if you record for longer than thirty minutes at a time, sending a beep directly into your brain that they are overheating.
I hope they have enough government-employed facial reconstruction surgeons in Arizona. There will be a lot of ICE agents losing eyes and half their noses, if they are lucky.
