Yet I don't understand the smile with cracks... Isn't the textual description in the article the exact same you'd use for upside down face?
My friends use the upside-down face to mean "reacting to something silly" (the tongue-sticking-out emoji means "I did/said something silly")
But this is both the strength and weakness of emojis: they don't really have universal meanings.
