I really hope John Ternus reverses this ad push into software and services. The problem is, once the revenue starts coming in, it's harder to end it, although Jobs did start and end iAds. A high standard really needs to be kept from the start so stockholders don't get used to some extra profits that then disappear and the CEO has to explain that customer satisfaction is more important for retention and growth than the money those ads were brining in.
