I don’t know what DomCom is, but this seems like a wildly inappropriate thing for a police department to be doing.
And Hamilton Police are trying to intimidate potential venues to prevent the conference. They've also put out a call for information on X: https://x.com/HamiltonPolice/status/2092995595325591902
They've already gotten one venue to cancel, and are promising to use any excuse to harass them:
