This is appalling, while we Europeans are screaming at the US for their implementation of ICE detention centers this is what is being planned here?
Like so many other things we delegate our responsibility to far away places (carbon offset) just to keep the illusion of a clean conscience, while continuing to act against everything our constitutions should hold dear and sacred. The first sentence in the German constitution is: Human dignity is inviolable, and protecting it is the duty of all state authority.
