from the last time I posted this micron has received large extensions and is now (more or less) feature complete. In addition, I've also ported it to baremetal, so you can use it (more or less drop in) in embedded environments or kernel modules with minimal friction. It nearly fully matches glibc in scope (I cut some useless things) and features, while also making massive extensions (graphics et al).
Generally if you're wondering what this library contains/is, as of this moment it's more or less [libc + STL + Boost (yes, nearly all of it) + linux headers + fdlibm (yes, a full math stack is rolled inline) + TBB + GLM/GLFW + oneMKL + BLAS]
NOTE: networking and compression do exist but are fully cut from the public release(s). Networking alone is cca 3 million LoC and contains massive amounts of proprietary code that would pollute this repo. The raw syscalls/wrappers are available if you need them. I'm still working on heavy fuzzing and correctness across our supported ISAs, once that's done I'll get working on a macOS/Windows port; for now this is Linux only.
Also to my knowledge micron is STILL the only non-C based feature-complete libc implementation (other than LLVM-libc relibc which are ~half complete).
