Thank you for the feedback. It might seem like it but it is not. First of all, most projects sleep when not used. That is the main point. Server wakes within seconds.
Second, freemium is part of marketing, I run it personally on Hetzner for 117 EUR a month (three main boxes with almost 100 gbs of ram), backups, abuse detection, etc.). You can look me up. Of course it is losing money now. But I personally love to use it for my tools and mini projects - it is worth it even without users. And I already have real users from all over the world. Discord bots, mini games, small sites, ... I would be happy to connect to prove all of this if you would be interested. Let me know at hello@thevibehosting.com or on X.com/ladahrbacek
It is only 120 eur / month, so forever. The hosting is monetized eventually, if you would have more servers, or one would get heavy on usage, you would pay as you go based on the pricing.
This honestly sounds like s SCAM. There is no way you can provide hosting like this for FREE.

That's my point. Sorry, I didn't mean any ill-intent here, but, you're losing money. How long can you keep this up?

Also, if you're running this off a single Hetnzer bare-metal machine, you already have a single point of failure right?
