We've spent a lot of time making consumer products and tech built on computer vision, helping people to create spatial photos with Seene, and contributing to the foundations of Snapchat's AR.
The dream of spatial computing has been locked inside a single idea: wearables. It’s a vision that's exciting, but it’s focused on a class of devices that most of the world doesn’t currently own or use.
Rather than being limited by form factor, we decided to take a different path, where fundamental problems like optics, compute, battery life, thermals, daily behavior and mass adoption are already solved. So we're launching on Mac laptops and desktops, with more devices coming soon.
