Would this work with other LLM provider APIs other than the ones you’ve listed?
Not yet, though that would be a nice feature. It now only uses any of the claude, codex, agy (antigravity cli) harness available models.

I need to test drive this for homeschooling purposes
This currently is very tailored to my linux os setting (i.e. arch & i3wm). On what would you like to run it on?
