Its more like they're *transitioning* to Rust and not rewriting everything in Rust
This pattern has been repeating itself since at least the 80's:
1. "C is hard"
2. "We rewrote everything"
3. "It still doesn't work"
Maybe by 2030, a new pattern will emerge:
1. "C is hard, we're using it anyway"
2. "We learned C and now its simple"
3. "Our code runs great"
This is delusion. Rust is objectively better than C in these things.
