CXAgent is a coding agent for the terminal (running on linux, windows and macos)
You can bring your own provider/model (supports openai compatible, anthropic, and local ollama/llama.cpp)
Main features:
- Multi sub agent, supporting different model per agent, background/foreground running from parent, in it's tab.
- An editor in a tab beside the conversation, with syntax highlight,
- A real terminal in a tab
- /btw asks a side question
- paste or drop a screenshot into the prompt and vision models see it.
Install: dotnet tool install -g cxagent (or the install script / single-file binaries from the releases page).
