I got my first Personal (not shared family) PC in 2006, my mom saved up and bought me a beastly at the time Dell xps studios with a 2nd Gen Intel 17 and a Nvidia GTX 920 GPU. It changed my life. Ive always wanted to learn coding but the syntax side of things has always been a hurdle compared to the logic, reasoning and engineering side of things. This year I experimented with AI despite my previous extreme negative bias towards LLM's and i was able to make my first project from scratch The "auto VOD editor" It took weeks and literally engineering the prompts and moving to a closed sandbox with persistent guardrails that i also had to engineer. but i was able to do it. If you read this far i just want you to know i dont think im a programmer or a system architect i just leveraged my own personal background in audio engineer and analysis with my lifelong passion for computers to make an idea into a working program.
